Our mission is to guide players, their families, coaches and our followers to a successful life on and off the field. Develop confidence. Teach the game. Instill Character traits that help lead to success and help develop as many leaders as we can.
Young talented players can get by on talent alone. They can get away with laziness because they are simply more athletic. They will get more opportunities because they get better results against lesser talent. They often develop a false sense of confidence because of how they are treated. ![]()

Then one day when their peers start to catch up to them, the game starts to get harder. They start to fail more. They aren’t “the man” any longer. Their confidence starts to fade and because of this, so does their passion for the game. ![]()

We’ve all seen and heard of the players who were amazing young athletes but never made it far after puberty. Early developers are fun to watch as they are often so much better but adults, be careful of how you treat them. Stop putting them on a pedestal. Don’t let them get away with foolishness. Do everything you can to help them develop a strong work ethic. The game has a way of weeding out laziness, entitlement and bad attitudes. Sometimes it’s a slow process but let’s do our part in helping them grow.
